The Kiwanis Club of Seward believes in giving back to our community, and in 2024, we proudly adopted Bemis Park. This beautiful green space and playground, located on Highway 34, welcomes everyone who enters and leaves Seward and serves as a gathering spot for families and children in the neighborhood.
In partnership with the Seward High School Key Club, we are committed to maintaining and enhancing the park for everyone to enjoy. Together, we care for the park’s flower beds, ensuring that they bloom with color throughout the spring and summer. During the holidays, we work to spread joy by decorating Bemis Park with nostalgic Christmas decorations, adding a touch of warmth and cheer to the community.
Our collaboration with the local youth through the Key Club is something we truly value. It’s not just about maintaining the park—it’s about fostering a sense of pride and responsibility in the next generation. We love working alongside these young leaders to care for a space that brings beauty and joy to all who visit.
